Are you a non-member in runescape? Don’t you hate how you want to level up, but you have no idea what to train on? Well, in this article, I will explain to you the basic monsters to kill, and the levels recommended.

Level 1-15  -  Cows

You probably have seen the cows before. They are practically anywhere! You’ll find a lot of cows northeast of Lumbridge, or in the Crafting Guild, south of Falador. Since you are at such a low level at this point, I recommend bringing foods that only heal a little amount, such as bread, cabbage, etc. Save up the cow hides they drop, because by time you get to level 15, you will make a lot of money selling them in the Grand Exchange.

Level 16-25   -   Scorpions and Zombies

Zombies are level 13, while scorpions are level 14. The best place to fight these guys are in Varrock sewers. The two enemies are right next to each other. Plus, if you are an archer, you can use your arrows on the skeletons and ghosts across the area. Recommended food here is herring and trout. They still cost a low price at this point. You can get bones and fishing bait from the zombies, but scorpions drop nothing.

Level 26-30  -  Skeletons and Ghosts

Skeletons and Ghosts are also convienently located in Varrock sewers, just beyond the scorpions and zombies.  We will use the same type of food here, but if you find yourself getting hit with high numbers, use salmon or lobster.

Level 30-50  -  Flesh Crawlers, Goblins, and Minotaurs

In the Stronghold of Security, located in Barbarian village, there are 4 levels. Near the end of the first level, you will find Goblins at level 25, and Minotaurs at level (24?). They both can drop useful items, but the odds of that are low. If you go down a level, there are level 26 Flesh Crawlers. They will attack you on site! They do hold a piece of the scepter, however. I’d recommend any food you use beyond this point is lobsters. Beware of the level 44 zombies!

Level 50-70  -  Moss Giants

If you are lucky enough, there will be spots open in Varrock Sewers. They are the farthest in, and it is a multi-combat area, so people may take your kills. They drop big bones, and a lot of rare items. Use lobsters or swordfish here. If there are too many people, go to a different world, or just kill the Deadly Red Spiders.

Level 70+  -   Lesser Demons

When I go, I find these areas empty. Go in the volcano on Karamaja (sp?), and past the gate are the Lesser Demons. They can drop amazing items at points, and you probably will make a lot of money. Happy hunting!
